The Dunn Case and Stand Your Ground

This is insanity:

Here is empirical proof that, despite its framers intentions, Stand Your Ground has given license to kill through the inability of juries to acquit.  The combination of stand your ground and high gun ownership seems extremely dangerous – if everyone is armed, there should be high standards to use those arms, lest an ordinary argument become and excuse for shooting someone in “self defense.”  A disarmed citizenry would allow Stand Your Ground – it would be very clear who constituted a threat – but an armed citizenry requires caution.
