Why No One Likes Libertarians

From my facebook feed:

It sets a bad precedent to arrest a foreign diplomat like this – but then again abusing her maid is an issue. I’m not a fan of minimum wage laws as I feel they do more harm then good when a market acts efficiently – so I’m glad that her housekeeper “absconded” in June as it is a sign she can get better work elsewhere. Abusing workers is prevalent across the globe and shouldn’t be allowed to happen on our shores, but this should have been handled with more tact.

The idea that a clear case of domestic worker abuse and visa fraud necessitates some bloviating about the minimum wage, especially when the labor market involved is nowhere near efficient is ridiculous and callous.
